Through four distinct research objectives, this project endeavors to construct a foundational infrastructure, develop methodologies for quantifying semantic similarity, and advance a semantics-based retrieval framework for 2D scene sketch-based and image-based 3D scene retrieval. This thesis presents a comprehensive investigation into student experiences with TLS client authentication, highlighting the usability challenges and learning curves associated with this long term key managament system. We designed a study that required future innovators in technology and security to use modern-day implementations of this certificate-based authentication system. From this study, we analyzed server logs, project reports, and survey responses from students enrolled in the applied cryptography course. The research involved comparing Orca 2 with other significant models such as Llama-2, GPT-3.5-Turbo, and GPT-4, particularly focusing on its application in RAG.   • The type of solvent had noticeable effects on morphology and piezoelectric properties of P(VDF-TrFE) electrospun fibers.

  • Using MEK as a solvent and specific environmental conditions led to the obtainment of surface nanopores.

Ensuring the safe integration of autonomous vehicles into real-world environments requires a comprehensive understanding of pedestrian behavior. This study addresses the challenge of predicting the movement and crossing intentions of pedestrians, a crucial aspect in the development of fully autonomous vehicles.

The research focuses on leveraging Honda's TITAN dataset, comprising 700 unique clips captured by moving vehicles in high-foot-traffic areas of Tokyo, Japan. Lake level decline affects lakes worldwide, changing the availability and character of nearshore habitat used by fish to spawn, and increasing total dissolved solids (TDS), similar to salinity, a factor that negatively impacts fish health. Lake level decline can affect different lakes in different ways, but typically when lake level declines significantly, there is less nearshore habitat overall, and what nearshore habitat remains has less diverse habitat for fish. Specifically, the paper concerns itself with changes made to the “ShowYourWork” plugin, which was implemented to log the keystrokes of students in Utah State University’s introductory Computer Science course, CS1400. Recent work performed by the Edwards Lab provided insights into students’ feelings towards keystroke logging as a measure of deterring plagiarism. However, there is a misconception among growers that the application of higher doses of fertilizers hastens plant growth; instead, it can lead to runoff and leaching loss of nutrients. In this study, two different methods are used to investigate carbon black as a cold field electron emitter. The first method is to incorporate carbon black into a specially designed insulated copper hollowed wire. The wire has a cup-shaped structure created by electrochemical etching. Most philosophers of science do philosophy ‘on’ science. By contrast, others do philosophy ‘in’ science (PinS), that is, they use philosophical tools to address scientific problems and to provide scientifically useful proposals. Here, we consider the evidence in favour of a trend of this nature. We proceed in two stages. First, we identify relevant authors and articles empirically with bibliometric tools, given that PinS would be likely to infiltrate science and thus to be published in scientific journals (‘intervention’), cited in scientific journals (‘visibility’), and sometimes recognized as a scientific result by scientists (‘contribution’). Introduction: Although B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-cell ALL) survival rates have improved in recent years, Hispanic children continue to have poorer survival rates. There are few tools available to identify at the time of diagnosis whether the patient will respond to induction therapy. As the effects of climate change are being felt more frequently, discussions on how to combat such a massive issue are increasingly prevalent. Finding solutions to the climate crisis requires an understanding of how mainstream economic systems have led to the climate crisis and using these same principles to get out of the climate crisis is misguided.
