The caption on the bottom of the map reads: Plan of Township No. 9 in the 4th Range of Townships West from the East line of the State as surveyed AD 1839 on a scale of 40 chains [4 rods] to an inch or 1:31,680 by Noah Barker, surveyor. Map is stable but yellowed and shows a degree of foxing.
