The Importance Of Play, Laura V. Douglas

Education Student Dissertations

While reading the "Principles of Educational Sociology" by Walter Robinson Smith, the writer was deeply impressed by the statement that "Next to the family group and home life, the play group and play life exert the most vital influence upon the unfolding personality of the child." College Lectures-The Minister As A Financier Revised, Charles C. Chapman Apr 1930

College Lectures-The Minister As A Financier Revised, Charles C. Chapman

Charles C. Chapman College Lectures

This is a revised version of an earlier speech with the same name. In it Chapman advises ministers to be thrifty and save their meager income, as financial problems can be the undoing of a minister. He tells them to spend wisely and to make sure to maintain a home and lifestyle that befits their place in the community while avoiding debt and saving for retirement and emergencies.
