To harness the leading role of science and technology innovation and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, it is necessary to establish an innovation policy ecosystem that coordinates science and technology, education, economics, and social policies. Compared with this demand, China’s current science and technology innovation policy still needs to be further improved in terms of policy horizontal and vertical coordination, industrial technology research organization mechanism, innovative enterprise subjectivity, industry-university-research cooperation innovation incentives, and resource allocation marketability. Using the keyword frequencies in the headlines of press releases issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, this article quantifies the shifting focus of India's public policy communications. Our analysis suggests that in the aftermath of the 2008–09 Global Financial Crisis, India's public policy communications shifted from international trade to innovation and competitiveness, while the emphasis on large infrastructure development, employment, investment, and policy incentives remained. A similar analysis using newspaper headlines from India's three leading newspapers and Google search intensity using data from Google Trends indicates that the discussion about international trade and the institutions that promote it …

With the rapid growth of demand for lithium, cobalt, and nickel, China, the United States, and the European Union have classified them as critical minerals. This study investigates the rise of China’s and the global electric vehicle industry in relation to the demand for lithium, cobalt, and nickel, forecasts the potential for recycling these metals, and evaluates the challenges to resource security of these metals faced by China. In order to narrow the gender gap in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field, many countries have formulated relevant policy measures.This study summaries policy documents, plans and projects of women’s STEM education in different countries, and conducts text content analysis from three aspects, i.e., policy makers, policy elements, and policy implementation and evaluation. Results show that there are three types of policy makers, and each has their own focus. This study examined the challenges stepparents face in schooling their high-school aged children. An analysis of how stepfamily formation can impact this process was also investigated. The sample included 13 families composed of one biological and one non-biological parent with at least one child between the ages of 14 and 18 who was currently attending high school. Stepparents were asked to share their experiences with other family members, the school, and the community as they related to the education of their stepchildren. The Office of Head Start has prioritized holistic quality education services for children and communities in greatest need. First, since 1965, the federal government has funded, regulated, and publicly aided over 38 million children through Head Start programming, including AIAN and Migrant programs (Administration for Children and Families, n.d.).
