Cedars, the award-winning student newspaper at Cedarville University, has earned the Frank E. Deaner Award for Excellence in College Journalism for the fourth consecutive year.
The award is given to the top college newspaper in Ohio by the Ohio Newspaper Association. Cedars finished as the top publication in Division B, which includes institutions with fewer than 10,000 students.

Education Management recently released its top 50 online education degree programs in the nation. The list is dominated by big-time universities known just as much for their athletic success as their academic mindset.

The University of Houston, University of Florida, Florida State University, Indiana University and Texas A&M University comprise the top six universities on this list. But only one evangelical university —Cedarville University — is listed among the elite universities in the country.

A group of students and staff from Cedarville University’s athletic training program will have the unique opportunity to serve others in the Middle East during spring break. The group departs Thursday, March 3 and returns Monday, March 14.

Through Cedarville’s Global Outreach program, the group will work with high school administrators and soccer coaches to educate them on basic first aid and athletic training services.

Globalization, Values Management, And Interpretations Of Integrity In Higher Education: Perspectives From The Kingdom Of Cambodia, Alexander Jun, Rebecca Hong, Curtis Cline, Faith Fitt

As globalization moves higher education worldwide toward international confluence, local imperatives are sometimes overlooked in favor of indiscriminate norms. This study explored forces that impact higher education in an emerging educational center, especially as they are identified by students within that system. The findings revealed three areas of importance to the participants: a) the deep and continuous evolution of the education system in Cambodia, b) the value of social support systems, and c) the influence of a complex ethical system. In an election year where debates and policy discussions are at the forefront of the news, Cedarville University’s model United Nations team came away with a slew of awards at the Dayton Model United Nations Conference. The event, held February 5-6 at Sinclair Community College, included 11 teams from universities in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
