J.P. Morgan Services, Inc. implemented teams into its Private Client Group-Operations (PCG-Ops) located in Wilmington, Delaware during the summer of 1996, in an initiative the company called Realignment. The goal of my senior project is to explore the use of teams in corporate settings. By assessing how consistent the Private Client Group's Realignment initiative is with the current team development, organizational change, and organizational development literature. The goal of my research project is to study early influences, especially those from the family, on leadership behavior. While children are growing up, their families play a large role in shaping their ideas, beliefs, values and behaviors. Certainly, the development of an individual's leadership style is a continuous process which does not end when one becomes independent of the family. However, only recently are these same schools clearly articulating a more formal structure in leadership education. There are many watershed associations such as the James River Association or the Chicahominy Watershed Alliance throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, but it is unclear how these organizations function and what makes one more effective than another. The inception of communism in the Soviet Union was a result of the losses Russia incurred during World War I. Devastation during the war and mismanagement by the government throughout created an atmosphere ripe for revolution. With the leadership of Lenin, the Bolshevik Revolution occurred in November 1917, and the Communist Party was created in March 1918.

The course, co-taught by Dr. Richard Couto and former Virginia Attorney-General Mary-Sue Terry, intended to "offer students CPR instruction to sustain organizational and personal vision" (Couto) for a group or organization dealing with crisis. This thesis is about government involvement in the arts community - how the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is affected, as well as the artists themselves. Censorship is the main focus. Selected for examination are two specific cases: an exhibition of the works of controversial photography, Robert Mapplethorpe, and the display of the Enola Gay fuselage at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. Sexual Harassment Of Female Newspaper Employees, Rebecca Carlisle

This study addresses sexual harassment among female journalists at 12 newspapers across the country. Included in the sample were 46 reporters, 14 copy editors, and 17 employed in other areas including section editors and photographers. They worked at newspapers ranging in circulation size from 6,000 to 250,000. In addition, this study attempted to replicate at least portions of the 1995 study "Outing sexual harassment of female journalists" by Kim Walsh-Childers and others from the University of Florida. The purpose of replication is to test the truth in the original, be it survey research, an experiment, or another form of research. …
