The paper analyses 775 publications by the faculty members in the Department of Physics, University of Calcutta, collected from Scopus database for the period of 19 years (2001-2019). A number of bibliometric indicators e.g. total publications, citations, journal cites score, h-index, year-wise productivity, national and international collaborations, the most preferred and cited journal are employed for analysing the nature of publications. Bibliometric technique and open source software like Publish or Perish and Bibliometrix R Package are used for data analysis. The paper presents a bibliometric study of the journal titled “Journal of Indian Library Association (JILA) for the period between 2015-2020. The present study reveals the results of a bibliometric study of 148 articles published in the Journal of ILA. The analysis cover mainly the number of articles, authorship pattern, subject-wise distribution of articles, average number of references per articles, forms of documents cited, year wise distribution of cited journals etc. Study reveals that most of the contributions are from India with 99.61% and the rest 0.39% only from foreign sources. The present study aimed to explore users’ satisfaction with library resources and services in health sciences institutes in Punjab, Pakistan. The study employed the quantitative research method to achieve its objectives. The quantitative data were collected from users of four selected health sciences institute libraries through the questionnaire.
The findings of the study suggest that the majority of participants were satisfied with the library environment (furniture, heating/cooling, noise level, lights and cleanliness). Research trends have shown an increase in the preferences for feature fusion-based image retrieval. The primary objective of this study is to show the current state of research regarding image retrieval and feature fusion. The research papers indexed in the Scopus database are considered here for quantitative analysis. A bibliometric analysis of the research publications indexed in Scopus is presented in this study. During this study, 461 documents from 276 different sources are obtained. The important keywords, sources, authors, countries, and funding agencies are presented, which will help future researchers in research directions.

The population selected for the study was flood-affected libraries of South Kerala, affiliated to Kerala State Library Council. According to Kerala Library Council, the 2018- 19 flood-affected 113 libraries in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Kottayam district, among which 95 libraries were selected. The study comprehends intellectual structure and publication pattern of scholarly articles published in the Journal of Money Laundering Control ranging from the year 2014 to 2020 through the prevailing methods of bibliometric analysis. The study finds that the JMLC has published the lowest number of 29 papers in 2014 and the highest number of 117 papers in the publishing year 2020. Regarding country wise distribution of research productivity, the UK is the top performer followed by Switzerland, and the USA. The main purpose of the study is to identify the pattern of authorship and collaborative nature of Library Philosophy and Practice journal during 2001 to 2020. Bibliographic data were collected from 2008 articles through the Lens database, based on the key areas of authorship studies such as authorship pattern, number of authors etc. The study found that Degree of Collaboration (DC), Collaborative Coefficient (CC) and Collaborative Index (CI) of these articles were 0.63, 0.36 and 1.93 respectively, which clearly indicate that the authorship trend is towards the shared or joint authorship in Library Philosophy and Practice journal.

The present study was conducted to examine the accessibility and corrosion of web references cited in articles of DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology. A total of 1921 web references cited in 273 articles for five years from 2014-2018 were identified and checked to test their accessibility in terms of decay and persistence. Nearly 23.31% web references disappeared with passage of time. The results revealed that older the age of URL references, higher the percentage of inactive URL references. The study employed a quantitative approach where informetrics has been used as the primary data collection method to analyse the implementation of curbside/book pick-up services on the web pages of 26 South African University Libraries.
