The purpose of this study was to know the users’ perception, awareness, purpose, problems, and satisfaction with Pakistan Research Repository (PRR). To meet the purpose, study was conducted in multiple phases. In the first phase, literature review was done. And, on the bases of reviewed literature, a semi structured questionnaire was developed. Data was collected via online survey from 400 users (LIS professionals & library users of Pakistan) of PRR. A convenience sampling method was used. The useable responses were 384 (96%).

This study aims to investigate factors affecting knowledge sharing among librarians working in public libraries of Fars Province, Iran. The research uses a survey method. Using stratified random sampling technique, 180 librarians were selected as a sample. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire with an acceptable reliability. Data analysis was accomplished using Lisrel Full Version 8.7.

The study findings revealed that education and consultation programs improve librarians’ performance. These should be designed based on employees’ ability and type of activity. Research And Publication Productivity Of Librarians In Public Universities In South-West, Nigeria, Sarah Okonedo

This study reports the publication output of librarians in public universities in South-west, Nigeria. The descriptive survey method was used for the study. 166 copies of the questionnaire were administered to librarians in both federal and state university libraries. In response, 142 copies were retrieved indicating a response rate of 85.5%. The data was analyzed using frequency count, percentages, mean and standard deviation. Findings indicated that the publication output of librarians between 2009 and 2014 was relatively high. The present study evaluates the research publication trend among scientists of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research during the period 1989-2013. Data were analyzed based on type of publication, year of publication, language, source, country, institutions, most preferred journals and most prolific authors among other variables. The study revealed that majority (96.26%) of the researchers preferred to publish their research papers in joint authorship only and the degree of author collaboration ranges from 0.84 to 0.99 and its mean value is 0.95. This study examined the types of disasters that occur in university libraries and the extent of application of preventive, technological and coping measures in managing these disasters. This study examines the role ICTs play in poverty reduction among small and medium scale (SMS) farmers in Imo State, Nigeria. Data were collected from 170 (SMS) farmers in Imo State using well structured questionnaire. Analysis of data collected was done using percentages and mean presented in tabular forms. This study investigated how computer literacy predisposes postgraduate students to use e-resources. The survey research design and multi-stage sampling technique were used to select 2726 postgraduate students from 16 Nigerian universities. A questionnaire and computer test was used to collect data and data was analysed using percentages and Pearson’s product moment correlation. The postgraduates’ computer literacy level was average (56.3%). They used only few of the e-resources in their libraries and the frequency of usage was low (weighted average X = 2.45). This article presents a bibliometric study about collaboration in the Iberoamerican journals indexed in the Journal Citation Report (JCR) within the category Information Science & Library Science. It has been found that the rate of authors per article is 2, 24, it has been calculated the collaborative index (CI) and the degree of collaboration (DC) from 2006 to 2014 and even though both CI and DC have increased, this rise has been small. The study of the relationship between library resources and research productivity in five Nigerian health research facilities was conceived majorly to investigate the relationship existing between these two variables. The study employed a descriptive survey design to undertake a population of 198 research staff in the five research centres (out of this number, 166 were actually used).
