Scientometric Study Of Indian Hydrogel Research Based On Web Of Science Database, Chaman Sab M, Mariraj Vasudev Sedam, Vitthal T. Bagalkoti

On the basis of the Web of Science database, through scientometrics, quantitative and qualitative research was conducted on hydrogel literature produced globally. A total of 2531 publications and 48,157 citations were received to these publications during 2011 - 2020. It was found that the number of published articles was higher in the USA, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, England, Peoples R China, etc. The highest number of publications 4, 34 (17.147%) was published in 2020. Purpose

This study aims to evaluate the resources, services and system of TEVTA libraries in the Punjab. A total of 40 libraries are established in TEVTA colleges in Punjab. In order to evaluate these libraries, their physical, information resources, services, systems and staff was main considerations of this study.

Methodology

This study was quantitative in nature; therefore, to achieve the objectives of this study a self-structured questionnaire was designed and distributed among the respondents. The present study is aimed to explore the research trend on Ladakh for the past 30 years using the popular Indexing database “Web of Science”. A total of 561 research publications were found indexed by the Web of Science contributed by as many as 1106 authors, 462 institutions/organizations, 30 nations which appear in 261 journals in three languages and in 15 different document types. The aim of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric study to investigate the research output of library and information science in India. The SCOPUS database was selected to collect data from 2011 to 2020. Collected data was analysed on various parameters such as authorship pattern, year wise contribution of articles, most cited articles, top journals, top authors, document types, etc. The study found that in year 2019 Indian author contributed 471 research papers which 21.8% and highest in 10 years. This paper reports on a study conducted to examine various entrepreneurship opportunities that exist among librarians and information science professionals. A survey was carried out among ongoing undergraduate LIS students in their second and third years, Master Degree students in their second year as well as LIS professionals who completed studies between 2012 and 2019, and who were working at various institutions at the time when the study was conducted.
