Annual rankings of global temperature are widely cited by media and the general public, not only to place the most recent year in a historical perspective, but also as a first-order metric of recent climate change that is easily digestible by the general public. Moreover, all annual NOAAGlobalTemp anomalies from 1880 (the earliest reading available) through the mid-1970s are well below anomalies of the top 10 warmest years in Table 1, even when considering the uncertainty of the NOAAGlobalTemp time series values. Objective: Background: In response to the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) ILL service increase from $9 to $12, and in preparation for an upcoming retreat discussion in April 2018, the Consortium of Southern Biomedical Libraries (CONBLS) polled its 21 member libraries for ILL fills and borrows to and from other CONBLS libraries for calendar years 2016 and 2017.
Methods: To analyze three years of data, 2018 ILL statistics was requested from CONBLS libraries and permission was obtained to use it and the previously collected 2016 and 2017 ILL CONBLS statistics for this poster. Data was combined in Excel and analyzed …

Annual Postdoctoral Science Symposium Abstracts
The mission of the Annual Postdoctoral Science Symposium (APSS) is to provide a platform for talented postdoctoral fellows throughout the Texas Medical Center to present their work to a wider audience. The MD Anderson Postdoctoral Association convened its inaugural Annual Postdoctoral Science Symposium (APSS) on August 4, 2011.
The APSS provides a professional venue for postdoctoral scientists to develop, clarify, and refine their research as a result of formal reviews and critiques of faculty and other postdoctoral scientists. Additionally, attendees discuss current research on a broad range of subjects while promoting academic interactions and enrichment and developing new collaborations.
