This dissertation delves into the intricate dimensions of humanization by shifting the analytical focus from denial and exclusion to affirmative aspects of inclusion. The central aim of this research is to unravel the mechanisms underlying the process of humanization, or how individuals perceive and internalize their being recognized as human beings. Employing the critical incident technique, this research methodically examined the lived experiences of a highly diverse group of individuals living with varying social stigmas and how they experience humanization. This research displays the intricate interplay of language, actions, and sensory elements engendered before, during, and after a humanizing moment. …

Identifying The Main Causes For Support Of Crime Control Theater Forms, And Understanding How To Correct The Public’S Perception, Erisjames M. Elliott

Much research has been completed on the forms of crime control theater (CCT), and the impact that the existence of CCT laws have on society. Research on CCT laws has shown that they are definitively unsuccessful in providing the safety they were created to provide. This thesis will utilize completed research to explain the main psychological phenomena holding people back from decreasing their support for CCT laws. It will also describe proven methods of correcting misinformation in order to change the perceptions of people who support crime control theater laws, and provide suggestions for how research should be continued.

A Systematic Literature Review Of Research From 2010 To 2020 Addressing User-Generated Online Comments Related To Health Issues And Recommendations For Future Research, Muhammad Ittefaq, Mauryne Abwao, Ioana A. Coman, Waqas Ejaz

This systematic literature review was conducted to provide insights into how online readers’ comments have been studied in the context of health over a 10-year span. About 593 studies published between 2010 and 2020; of these, 34 met the research criteria for inclusion. Our findings reveal that 60% of the studies focused on the United States, and a qualitative method was used in 74.3% of these studies. About 23.5% of the studies explored vaccine-related issues. Our results reveal that among the selected studies, 76.5% and 20.6% had female and male first authors, respectively. Textual analysis of abstracts shows that the …

The Anne with an E fan campaign highlighted storylines of social issues that fans felt were important for society. Of particular interest to the fan community was a storyline from the series in which Anne and her friends organized a protest following incidents of sexual assault and censorship aimed at silencing girls from speaking out on gendered issues. This storyline was heavily referenced in the billboards that the fan-based campaign displayed in Toronto and New York City (Anne Nation, 2020). The objective of this research is to explore the purchase behavior toward luxury fashion brands among Thai Generation Y consumers during the economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research utilized a qualitative approach to gather information from 10 key informants aged 31 to 42, residing in Thailand and spending more than 500,000 Thai baht annually on luxury fashion products. The findings indicate that Thai Gen Y consumers are active followers of economic news and current events, as they consume news on a daily basis and discuss it with their social circle. The Impact Of Brand Image On Customer Loyalty Toward Haidilao Thailand, Liu Xin

The objectives of this research are as followed: to explore Brand image and customer loyalty toward Haidilao Thailand and to investigate the relationship between the two variables. The study collected two hundred fifty-eight participants who is living in Bangkok for at least three months, aged between 20 and 50, and who have dined at Haidilao in the past three months. The findings reveal a positive perception of Haidilao's brand image among respondents (M = 3.89). Notably, functional image received the highest mean score (M = 3.91), closely followed by experiential image (M = 3.91), while symbolic image obtained the lowest …

ในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์คุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของอินฟลูเอนเซอร์บนแพลตฟอร์มยูทูบ 2) เพื่อออกแบบและทดลองใช้กระบวนการฝึกอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของอินฟลูเอนเซอร์บนแพลตฟอร์มยูทูบ เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพที่นำองค์ความรู้จากการศึกษาบทความวิจัย ตำรา และเอกสารต่างๆ เพื่อสร้างกระบวนการการฝึกอบรมผ่านกระบวนการแบบกลุ่ม (Focus Group) และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) จากบุคคล 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ อินฟลูเอนเซอร์ จำนวน 5 ราย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการฝึกอบรม จำนวน 3 ราย และนักวิชาการด้านวาทนิเทศ จำนวน 2 ราย เพื่อนำไปสู่การออกแบบการฝึกอบรม โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมฝึกอบรวมจำนวน 13 ราย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) คุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของอินฟลูเอนเซอร์บนแพลตฟอร์มยูทูบ ประกอบด้วย 5 คุณลักษณะ ได้แก่ 1) Identity เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตนที่ชัดเจน 2) Consistency ความสม่ำเสมอ 3) Creativity ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ 4) Content เนื้อหา และ 5) Sincere ความจริงใจ ซึ่งทั้ง 5 คุณลักษณะดังกล่าวต้องมีความน่าเชื่อถือ (Ethos) และสร้างอารมณ์ร่วม (Pathos) ให้กับผู้ติดตาม ในขณะที่ความเป็นเหตุเป็นผล (Logos) กลับลดความสำคัญลง เช่นเดียวกับ การจัดเรียง (Arrangement) การออกแบบเพื่อความสวยงาม (Style) การนำเสนออย่างเป็นระบบ (Delivery) ส่วนการคิดค้นเนื้อหาที่น่าสนใจ (Invention) การพูดหรือการแสดงเพื่อสร้างการจดจำ (Memor) ยังคงเป็นประเด็นที่สำคัญอยู่ เช่นเดียวกับการสื่อสารเชิงวจนะภาษา Verbal และ และอวจนะภาษา Non-Verbal นั่นเอง นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่า 2) การออกแบบและทดลองใช้กระบวนการฝึกอบรมในการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของอินฟลูเอนเซอร์บนแพลตฟอร์มยูทูบ นั้น คุณลักษณะที่มีสำคัญในการฝึกอบรมทุกกิจกรรมได้แก่ Identity เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตนที่ชัดเจน รองลงมาได้แก่ Creativity ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ Content เนื้อหา และ Sincere …

This study aims to fill a knowledge void on disinformation in a non-western context by examining the infodemic phenomenon in Thailand covering an extensive period from 31 December 2019 to 31 July 2021. The research examines how disinformation about COVID-19 spreads on Facebook and Twitter in Thailand, as well as the effectiveness of counter-disinformation approaches, and policy gaps in addressing the infodemic. Data collection relies on these methodologies—content analysis, sentiment analysis, social network analysis, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นหาคุณลักษณะการสื่อสารของนวัตกรที่มีประสิทธิผลในเครือข่ายสังเคราะห์นวัตกรรมของประเทศไทย เป็นการวิจัยเพื่อการสำรวจหรือการวิจัยเชิงบุกเบิกด้วยระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนวัตกรที่มีประสิทธิผล (มีผลงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง) จำนวน 20 ท่าน คัดเลือกแบบหลายขั้นตอนร่วมกับการคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจงจากฐานข้อมูลสิทธิบัตรของกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ใช้การสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึกเป็นเครื่องมือหลักในการวิจัย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์ด้วยการวิเคราะห์แก่นสาระ ผลการวิจัยแบ่งออกได้เป็น 2 ส่วน คือ 1. โครงสร้างเครือข่ายและความสัมพันธ์: เครือข่ายสังเคราะห์นวัตกรรมที่นวัตกรที่มีประสิทธิผลสังกัด ประกอบด้วยสมาชิกความเชี่ยวชาญหลากหลาย (สหวิทยาการ/สหวิชาชีพ) แต่มีทัศนคติและวิธีคิดสอดคล้องกัน จึงทำงานร่วมกันได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ สมาชิกในเครือข่ายฯ ได้รับมอบหมายบทบาทแตกต่างกันตามศักยภาพ และมีความสัมพันธ์กันบนพื้นฐานการทำงานเป็นหลัก โดยเครือข่ายฯ มีผู้นำ (มักได้แก่ตัวนวัตกรที่มีประสิทธิผล) รวมถึงผู้จัดการที่มีทักษะการสื่อสาร มีภาวะผู้นำสูง รอบรู้หลายเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตัดสินใจในแต่ละขั้นตอนได้เร็ว รวมถึงมีทักษะการบริหารจัดการที่สามารถควบคุมปัจจัยในการทำงานที่ยากภายใต้ข้อจำกัดด้านทรัพยากรและเวลาได้ นอกจากนี้ นวัตกรในเครือข่ายฯ จะทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้นหากสามารถ 1) เชื่อมโยงกับสมาชิก/หน่วยงานที่มีต้นทุนทางสังคมสูง ได้แก่ สมาชิก/หน่วยงานที่มีชื่อเสียง เป็นที่ยอมรับระดับสูง และ/หรือมีเครือข่ายด้านแหล่งทุนที่พร้อมและเอื้อต่อการทำงาน และ 2) ดำเนินงานภายใต้องค์กรที่มีระบบงานสนับสนุนซึ่งเอื้อต่อกระบวนการสังเคราะห์นวัตกรรม หรือเอื้อต่อการพัฒนาเครือข่ายสังเคราะห์นวัตกรรมให้เป็นหน่วยงานใหม่ที่มีข้อจำกัดในการทำงานน้อยลง 2. พฤติกรรมการสื่อสาร: สมาชิกเครือข่ายสังเคราะห์นวัตกรรมที่นวัตกรที่มีประสิทธิผลสังกัด มักเปิดกว้างทางความคิดแต่ยังปรากฏการคิดตามกลุ่ม (groupthink) บ้าง มักทำงานร่วมกันเป็นกลุ่มย่อยแบบไม่เป็นทางการ เพราะคล่องตัวและแก้ไขปัญหาได้ทันท่วงที มีพฤติกรรมการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล/การถ่ายทอดความรู้แบบทุกทิศทางและเกิดขึ้นตลอดเวลา โดยการแสดงความคิดเห็นที่เป็นที่ยอมรับต้องมีหลักฐานทางวิชาการสนับสนุน ในกรณีของการทำงานเป็นกลุ่มใหญ่เพื่อตัดสินใจหรือแก้ไขปัญหาร่วมกัน สมาชิกเครือข่ายฯ จะโต้แย้งแสดงเหตุผลเพื่อลดให้เหลือเฉพาะตัวเลือกที่สำคัญแล้วให้ผู้นำเครือข่ายตัดสินใจอีกครั้ง นอกจากนี้ แนวทางสำคัญของการสื่อสารภายในเครือข่ายฯ ได้แก่ 1) การเปิดกว้างให้สมาชิกสื่อสารได้ทุกเรื่อง 2) ผู้นำ/ผู้จัดการควรสร้างกระบวนการทำงานและการสื่อสารที่ถูกต้อง ชัดเจน รวดเร็ว 3) สมาชิกควรมีทักษะในการสื่อสารให้เข้าใจง่าย และทราบว่าต้องสื่อสารเรื่องใด กับใคร อย่างไร และ 4) มีการจัดการความรู้ (เช่น จัดทำคู่มือ รายงาน แนวปฏิบัติที่ดี ฯลฯ) เพื่อลดขั้นตอนในสิ่งที่ต้องสื่อสารกันบ่อยครั้ง

The establishment of a crisis theme through public rhetoric often triggers widespread attention, resulting in public concern and media coverage of an issue that could potentially be overblown or deceptive. In right-wing political discourse, this crisis warning is typically delivered by a White male leader with ready access to the powerful news media. An “us versus them” theme often occurs. WLBZ radio evolved from the passion of Thompson Guernsey, an amateur radio buff from Dover-Foxcroft who began experimenting with radio at the age of thirteen. As noted in a piece written by Fred Thompson in The History of Broadcasting in Maine: the First Fifty Years, Guernsey, considered by some to be an eccentric genius, began with homemade receivers and transmitters and an amateur license granted in 1921. After graduating from the University of Maine in 1926, Guernsey began operating WLBZ as a commercial broadcast station from Dover-Foxcroft.

The objective of the paper is to study the effects of perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU) and perceived enjoyment (PE), perceived cyber risks (PCR) of AI chatbots on the purchase intention (PI) of EVs among consumers in China. The study is conducted in a quantitative approach by using online questionnaires as a tool to collect data from 300 Shanghai based respondents, aged between 31-40, and have intention or experience using AI chatbots or EVs. This study aimed to explore the brand experience of Thai consumers toward Let’s Relax Spa and Massage across four dimensions. Using qualitative methodology, nine participants were purposively selected for on-site and online in-depth interviews, ensuring diversity based on specific criteria. The participants, actual consumers aged 27-33, shared their experiences using open-ended questions guided by Brakus et al.'s (2009) brand experience dimensions and the 7Ps of service marketing. The findings indicated an overall positive brand experience, particularly in sensory and behavioral aspects, with outstanding experiences in sight, sound, and taste senses.
