The study examined mentoring and employee motivation as a determinant of job productivity of library personnel, given the increasing importance and need for library personnel in providing effective and efficient information service delivery. Objective: This study aimed to analyze common subjects between information literacy and critical thinking papers indexed in the Web of Science Database from 1983 to 2019.

Methods: The present study was conducted using a quantitative approach and scientometric indicators. The data in this study were extracted from 160 scholarly articles in the Web of Science citation database.

Results: A subject analysis of keywords used in the published articles showed that most keywords were the subject areas related to educational research, computer, librarianship, and information science. This paper examines the availability of Open Access Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (OATD) available on Library and Information Science (LIS)in OATD.org. Totally, 10590 Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) on Library and Information Science were contributed by various Universities/Institutions during the period of 1971-2020 in OATD.org. Further, it is found that the countries such as US, Sweden, Finland, UK and South Africa were contributed 73.56% of theses. During 2011-2015, more numbers theses and dissertations were added in OATD.org. This study aims to explore the research productivity of sourced journal ‘International Journal of Jain Studies’. The data was extracted (N=59) from the website of journal by considering all types of publications during 2005-2021. The analysis was based on the scientometric indicators viz author productivity, degree of collaboration and collaboration coefficient. A total of 59 articles were published with an annual average growth rate of 39.12 percent. The total average number of authors per paper was 1.078 and the average productivity per author was 0.956. During the Covid-19 period electronic resources particularly open access resources were the only source of information for the research students in order to complete their work timely. This present study enquires awareness and use of open access resources during the Covid-19 lockdown period in the years 2020 and 2021. Questionnaire method was adopted to collect the desired data. A total of 180 valid samples were collected and used for data analysis. The result of the study indicates that majority of the respondents were aware and used open access journals, Institutional repositories, consortium based resources, etc. during the lockdown period.
