The paper examined the information and communication technology (ICT) tools for dissemination of covid19 information: a usage analysis among information professionals in Kwara state. The descriptive survey design was adopted. The population of the study comprised of 120 information professionals in Kwara State. Four (4) research questions guided this study. The total enumerative sampling technique was used, and questionnaire was used to collect data for this study. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistics such as simple percentages, frequency count, mean and standard deviation. Aim: The goal of this study is to measure the level of information literacy among students at Lahore Leads University.

Approach/ Design /Methodology: A survey method was employed to acquire pertinent data from the community. The article's aim is to evaluate the bibliometric analysis on library services through social media between 2010 and 2021. Data for the library services and social media were taken from the Scopus database using bibliometric analysis. For the purpose of obtaining pertinent information from both data sources, a thorough search method was developed. Ultimately, 138 Scopus records were chosen. The study focused on strategies used by librarians in marketing information resources and library services in Federal University of Technology, Owerri and Imo State University, Owerri. The study aimed to evaluate the bibliometric research of Library and Information Science (LIS) research contributed by the authors affiliated with the University of Karachi (UoK), Pakistan. The dataset was limited to 22 years from January 2000 to December 2021 and a list of evaluated papers has been proved from various online and print sources. Abstract

This study investigated use of information and communication technologies and perceived job performance of university libraries’ personnel in Oyo State, Nigeria. The descriptive research design of the survey type was adopted for this study. The university libraries’ personnel in Oyo State, Nigeria formed the population of the study using purposive sampling technique. A total of 219 questionnaires were distributed across the universities with a retrieval success of 187 copies, representing 85.4% return rate. This study investigated information seeking-behaviour of 109 widows in south-western Nigeria, with a questionnaire, using mainly snowball and purposive sampling techniques. Findings reveal that respondents were economically and educationally weak and their information needs hinge mainly on finance, children’s education and training, counselling, family and personal health. They use sources including radio, children, mobile phone, church members and television when seeking for information. Information security compliance implies that library personnel follow the rules, guidelines, and principles governing information security and implement the security measures provided in the library to curb insecurity. Information security compliance ensures that information resources held in the library are protected from unauthorized access and preserved from risk of lost, damage and unwanted modification.
