The specific problems were the following: (1) How does abstractness influence the number of promptings required to learn and relearn concepts? (2) What is the relation of abstractness to the percentage of consistent concepts learned and retained? (3) What is the relation of the number of promptings required to learn and relearn consistent or correct as compared with inconsistent or incorrect concepts?
