Relation Of Therapeutic Alliance And Perfectionism To Outcome In Brief Outpatient Treatment Of Depression, David C. Zuroff, Sidney J. Blatt, Stuart M. Sotsky, Janice L. Krupnick, Daniel J. Martin, Charles A. Sanislow, Sam Simmens

Prior analyses of the National Institute of Mental Health Treatment of Depression Collaborative Research Program demonstrated that perfectionism was negatively related to outcome, whereas both the patient's perception of the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the patient contribution to the therapeutic alliance were positively related to outcome across treatment conditions (S. J. Blatt, D. C. Zuroff, D. M. Quinlan, & P. A. Pilkonis, 1996; J. L. Krupnick et al., 1996). Religious freedom in practice and expression has been a paramount force in American society since the pilgrims originally settled in the New World. Many came to escape religious persecution and to be free to pursue their own beliefs. The fact that the First Amendment of the Constitution provides for religious freedom further demonstrates the importance of this principle.

The truth is that in spite of the importance placed on this topic and the debate in interpreting its meaning, the issue of separation remains confusing. Even in today's diverse society, it is a compelling, yet illusive principle. This paper addresses this …

The Anchor: 2000

The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). As of Fall 2019 The Anchor has moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.
