The Copyright (Amendment) Bill, 2017 is intended to overhaul an outdated Copyright Act. The Bill addresses contentious areas within copyright law like the fair dealing exception of computer programs, the possibility of circumvention of technological protection measures in limited circumstances, and the reproduction of materials for the visually impaired by authorized entities without liability for copyright infringement. Other favourable aspects of the Bill include the provisions on the liability of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for copyright infringement and a process for taking down infringing online content. Social network analysis can draw upon surveys and discussions to generate quantitative and qualitative data. We describe network data generated via a social network survey and discussion activity with high school science teachers in a teacher leadership development program. Data include social network maps related to seeking expertise in teaching content and/or pedagogy, disaggregated by contacts at the school, district, state, nation, and international spheres of influence. Being without the financial means to have reliable access to enough food to sustain members of a household is known as Food Insecurity (FI; Gundersen, 2013). Previous research has linked FI to obesity and depression (Adams, Grummer-Strawn, & Chavez, 2003; Bronte-Tinkew, Zaslow, Capps, Horowitz, & Mcnamara, 2007; Huddleston-Casas, Charnigo, & Simmons, 2009; Kim & Frongillo, 2007). Evaluating False Memory, Deception, And Truth-Telling Using Fnirs, Britni Grace Surprenant

False memories happen when someone mis-remembers a past event that occurred. The study of false memories is commonly done using the DRM paradigm which can form false memories through semantic list learning. The current study is evaluating false memory, deception, and truth-telling using the DRM paradigm while measuring cortical activation with fNIRS. Results indicated no interactions between specific condition responses and brain regions in the prefrontal cortex. A main effect of condition was found indicating that correct responses have the lowest level of activation. Additionally, there were no significant differences found between deception and false memory responses. Further research needs …

The puzzle of why the cycle of poverty persists and upward class mobility is so difficult for the poor has long captivated scholars and the public alike. Yet with all of the attention that has been paid to poverty, the crucial role of the law, particularly state and local law, in perpetuating poverty is largely ignored. This Article offers a new theory of poverty, one that introduces the concept of legal immobility. This study investigates the impact of economic development on health, using a panel of 217 countries (139 high-income and 78 low-income countries for the period 1995-2018). Five dependent variables are included, which are life expectancy at birth, infant mortality, under-5 mortality, survival to age 65 for the female and the male population. The preferred regression method used is fixed effects - two stage least squares modeling (FE-2SLS). งานวิจัยดังกล่าวเป็นการศึกษาถึงปัญหาความรุนแรงในครอบครัวของสังคมไทยต่อทายาทชายที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) ซึ่งมีรูปแบบของสาเหตุความรุนแรงที่มี “ลักษณะพิเศษ” เนื่องจากการใช้ความรุนแรงต่อทายาทชายที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) นั้นล้วนเกิดจากการมลทินประทับ (Stigmatization) ว่าบุคคลที่มีอัตลักษณ์ทางเพศที่แตกต่างจากบรรทัดฐานทางสังคมนั้นเป็นสิ่งที่ “ผิดปกติ” และ “น่าอับอาย” จึงส่งผลให้พ่อและแม่เลือกวิธีการใช้ความรุนแรงในการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมเบี่ยงเบน (Deviant Behavior) ของทายาทให้กลับสู่ความเป็น “ปกติ” ตามบรรทัดฐานของสังคมที่ได้กำหนดไว้ จากการศึกษาวิจัย พบว่า สาเหตุของการใช้ความรุนแรงในครอบครัวต่อทายาทเพศต้องห้าม (LGBTQ) ของสังคมไทย ล้วนเกิดจากการมลทินประทับ (Stigmatization) ของสมาชิกในครอบครัว ว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ “แตกต่าง” ไปจากบรรทัดฐานทางสังคมโดยทั้งสิ้น ซึ่งการมลทินประทับต่อเพศสภาพที่หลากหลาย (LGBTQ) ของครอบครัวในสังคมไทยสามารถจำแนกได้ 4 รูปแบบ ดังนี้ 1) การมลทินประทับบุคคลที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) ว่าเป็นผู้ที่มีความ “ผิดปกติ” “วิปริต” หรือเป็นความบกพร่องทางจิตรูปแบบหนึ่ง 2) การมลทินประทับว่าการมีทายาทชายที่เป็นบุคคลที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) เป็นการบ่อนทำลายภาพลักษณ์ของครอบครัว 3) การมลทินประทับว่าทายาทชายที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) ไม่สามารถสืบต่อสกุล / วงศ์ตระกูลได้ 4) การมลทินประทับว่าอนาคตของทายาทชายที่เป็นบุคคลที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) จะต้องเผชิญกับความล้มเหลวในชีวิต ซึ่งจากการวิพากษ์โดยทฤษฎีเควียร์ (Queer Theory) ต่อการมลทินประทับของครอบครัวไทยต่อทายาทชายที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) ทั้ง 4 รูปแบบ ก็ถือว่าเป็นการยืนยันถึงการ ”ดำรงอยู่” ของบรรทัดฐานทางสังคมแบบกลุ่มคนรักเพศตรงข้าม (Heteronormativity) ว่ายังคงมีอิทธิพลต่อวิถีชีวิตของคนในสังคมไทยอยู่ ทั้งนี้ แนวทางการยุติความรุนแรงความรุนแรงในครอบครัวต่อทายาทเป็นผู้ที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ (LGBTQ) มีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ต้องได้รับความร่วมมือจากครอบครัว ชุมชน และภาครัฐในการแก้ไขปัญหาความรุนแรงในครอบครัว ควบคู่ไปกับการรื้อถอนการประกอบสร้างทางสังคม (Deconstruction) ว่าด้วยเรื่องของไม่เท่าเทียมทางเพศที่เกิดขึ้นในบริบทของสังคมไทย เพื่อธำรงไว้ซึ่งความเสมอภาคกันทางเพศ ตลอดจนการเคารพสิทธิและเสรีภาพในการเป็น “มนุษย์” คนหนึ่ง

A study into the effects of different macroeconomic variables on the comovement between the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index and the Standard & Poor's 500 (S&P 500). These effects are tested using OLS regression in an annual and quarterly frequency. Real Interest Rate Difference between the two countries is found to have a significant negative effect, likely due to investors turning to Thailand when it has higher real interest rate. การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ในรูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey research) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจการรับรู้คุณค่าของผลิตภัณฑ์ แรงจูงใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และพฤติกรรมการซื้อผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมของผู้บริโภคกลุ่มมิลเลนเนียล รวมถึงวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการรับรู้คุณค่าของผลิตภัณฑ์กับพฤติกรรมการซื้อ และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแรงจูงใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมกับพฤติกรรมการซื้อ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บข้อมูลกับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ บุคคลเพศชายและเพศหญิงที่มีอายุระหว่าง 24-39 ปี อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย และเป็นบุคคลที่รู้จัก เคยซื้อ หรือมีประสบการณ์กับผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม จำนวน 205 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีการรับรู้คุณค่าของผลิตภัณฑ์ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีการรับรู้คุณค่าด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมมากที่สุด ในส่วนของแรงจูงใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีแรงจูงใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง แต่มีแรงจูงใจภายในอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนแรงจูงใจภายนอกอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ในส่วนของพฤติกรรมการซื้อผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม กลุ่มตัวอย่างให้ความสำคัญกับการเลือกซื้อเครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยพิจารณาจากคุณภาพที่ได้มาตรฐานของผลิตภัณฑ์ในระดับมากที่สุด จากการทดสอบสมมติฐานเพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ พบว่า การรับรู้คุณค่าของผลิตภัณฑ์มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการซื้อผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยเป็นความสัมพันธ์ในระดับปานกลาง และพบว่า แรงจูงใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการซื้อผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยเป็นความสัมพันธ์ในระดับปานกลางเช่นเดียวกัน

การศึกษาในครั้งนี้ต้องการตอบคำถามที่ว่าปัจจัยใดส่งผลต่อความสำเร็จในการเปลี่ยนผ่านการประชุมคณะกรรมการไปสู่การประชุมแบบไร้กระดาษ โดยศึกษาหน่วยงานที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการเปลี่ยนผ่าน และศึกษาหน่วยงานที่ยังคงใช้กระดาษในการประชุมคณะกรรมการ เพื่อค้นหาปัจจัยที่ส่งเสริมหรือเป็นอุปสรรค หากมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปสู่การประชุมคณะกรรมการแบบไร้กระดาษ โดยอาศัยแนวคิดทฤษฎีรัฐบาลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (e-government) เนื่องจากมาตรการไร้กระดาษและรัฐบาลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์เป็นการเปลี่ยนกระบวนการทำงานโดยอาศัยเทคโนโลยี งานวิจัยนี้ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบกรณีศึกษา โดยเลือกคณะกรรมการของหน่วยงานภาครัฐในระดับสำนักงานมาศึกษา 2 หน่วยงาน โดยหน่วยงานแรกจัดเป็นหน่วยงานที่เปลี่ยนผ่านไปสู่รูปแบบไร้กระดาษได้สำเร็จ ส่วนหน่วยงานที่สองยังอยู่ในรูปแบบใช้กระดาษ โดยมีการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้างกับเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องและกรรมการในคณะกรรมการ ประกอบการศึกษาเอกสารประกอบการประชุมและเข้าสังเกตการณ์ในการประชุมคณะกรรมการด้วย ผลการวิจัย พบว่าปัจจัยที่เคยเป็นอุปสรรคต่อการใช้เทคโนโลยี เช่นกฎหมายและความเชื่อมั่นของคนที่มีต่อการใช้งานเทคโนโลยี เป็นปัญหาน้อยลง ในด้านกฎหมาย เพราะมีกฎหมายออกมารองรับมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะพระราชกำหนดว่าด้วยการประชุมผ่านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ พ.ศ.2563 แต่ในทางปฏิบัติ พบว่าในกระบวนการประชุมคณะกรรมการ กรรมการโดยตำแหน่งสามารถมอบหมายผู้แทนเข้าร่วมประชุม โดยอาศัยหลักการปฏิบัติราชการแทนจากพระราชบัญญัติระเบียบบริหารราชการแผ่นดิน พ.ศ.2534 ซึ่งระบุว่าในการมอบอำนาจจะต้องทำเป็นหนังสือ และในด้านความเชื่อมั่นของคนที่มีต่อการใช้งานเทคโนโลยี เนื่องจากวิถีชีวิตที่พึ่งพาเทคโนโลยีมากขึ้น ทำให้ทัศนคติที่มีต่อการใช้งานเทคโนโลยีของคนเปลี่ยนไป นอกจากนั้น ยังพบว่าการมีผู้นำองค์กรที่มุ่งผลักดันการเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญของการเปลี่ยนผ่านที่สำเร็จ และงานวิจัยนี้ยังค้นพบปัจจัยเพิ่มเติมอีกหนึ่งปัจจัย ได้แก่ ผู้ช่วยด้านเทคโนโลยี ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่จะทำให้ผู้ใช้งานเทคโนโลยีมือใหม่มีทัศนคติอันดีต่อการใช้ และยอมรับการเปลี่ยนผ่านไปสู่การประชุมคณะกรรมการในรูปแบบไร้กระดาษได้ในที่สุด

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 ของผู้สูงอายุ 2) วิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 ของผู้สูงอายุ 3) นำเสนอแนวทางในการบริหารจัดการด้านสุขภาพการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 ของผู้สูงอายุ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในเทศบาลเมืองบึงยี่โถ อำเภอธัญบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี จำนวน 102 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive statistics) ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าความถี่ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ใช้สถิติเชิงอนุมาน (Inferential statistics) ได้แก่ Independent Sample T-test, One-Way ANOVA และการวิเคราะห์ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (Pearson’s Correlation) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิงร้อยละ 76.5 อายุช่วง 60-70 ปีมากที่สุด ส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายร้อยละ 32.4 และมีโรคประจำตัวร้อยละ 53.9 ซึ่งกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 อยู่ในระดับสูงคิดเป็นร้อยละ 97.1 ส่วนปัจจัยด้านบุคคล พบว่า เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษาและภาวะการมีโรคประจำตัวไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 ในด้านความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพที่ประกอบด้วย ปัจจัยการรับรู้โอกาสเสี่ยงของการเป็นโรค การรับรู้ความรุนแรงของโรค การรับรู้ภาวะคุกคามของโรค การรับรู้ประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับ การรับรู้อุปสรรคของการปฏิบัติ และความต้องการสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 แต่ปัจจัยด้านสิ่งชักนำหรือสิ่งกระตุ้นมีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อ COVID-19 ทางบวกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 ความต้องการได้รับการสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพอยู่ในระดับสูงร้อยละ 73.5 โดยส่วนใหญ่มีความต้องการหน้ากากอนามัย แอลกอฮอล์เจลล์ ข้อมูลข่าวสารในการป้องกันโรค ความต้องการเข้าถึงบริการตรวจคัดกรองโรคติดเชื้อโรคโควิด 19 ส่วนใหญ่ต้องการตรวจคัดกรองโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย และการได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารและให้คำปรึกษาจากภาครัฐ

The development of best practices that deliver quality STEM education to all students, while minimizing achievement gaps, have been solicited by several national agencies. ABMS is a feasible approach to provide insight into global behavior based upon the interactions amongst agents and environments. In this review, we systematically surveyed several modeling and simulation approaches and discussed their applications to the evaluation of relevant theories in STEM education. It was found that ABMS is optimal to simulate STEM education hypotheses, as ABMS will sensibly present emergent theories and causation in STEM education phenomena if the model is properly validated and calibrated.

งานวิจัยเรื่อง "การสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์ เพื่อให้ความรู้ด้านการสื่อสารผ่านหลักปฏิบัติด้านสื่อสารการแสดง" มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาหลักในการสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์ ที่ให้ความรู้และความบันเทิงแก่ผู้รับสาร และ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์ ที่ให้ความรู้ด้านการสื่อสารผ่านหลักปฏิบัติด้านสื่อสารการแสดง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หลักในการสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์ เป็นการสร้างสรรค์สื่อที่ผสมผสานทั้งสาระความรู้และความบันเทิงเข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อเผยแพร่ผ่านช่องทางออนไลน์ สาระความรู้ที่เลือกมานำเสนอต้องมีความชัดเจน และมีแหล่งที่มาที่น่าเชื่อถือ นำเสนออย่างเข้าใจง่าย ไม่ซับซ้อน และมีความสมดุลในเนื้อหาสาระและความบันเทิง ในการสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์ ต้องให้ความสำคัญทั้งขั้นก่อนการผลิต คือ การเตรียมเนื้อหา ขั้นกระบวนการผลิต รวมทั้งขั้นหลังกระบวนการผลิต และการเผยแพร่ ประเด็นการให้ความรู้ด้านการสื่อสารผ่านหลักปฏิบัติด้านสื่อสารการแสดง เป็นประเด็นเนื้อหาสาระที่เลือกนำมาศึกษา ทั้งนี้ในการสร้างสรรค์สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์สามารถนำเอาองค์ความรู้ในด้านอื่น ๆ มาปรับใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ได้ เพื่อทำให้ผู้เรียนสามารถได้รับความรู้และความเพลิดเพลินในเวลาเดียวกัน นอกจากนี้สื่อสาระบันเทิงออนไลน์สามารถนำไปเป็นสื่อประกอบการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียนได้

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการเปิดรับสื่อ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมในการแก้ปีชงของประชาชนในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ ด้วยเครื่องมือการเก็บข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 400 คน บุคคลนั้นจะเป็นผู้ที่เคยแก้ปีชง จำนวน 200 คน และไม่เคยแก้ปีชง จำนวน 200 คน ซึ่งจะประมวลผลโดยใช้โปรแกรมSPSS ผลการวิจัยพบว่าผู้ที่เคยแก้ปีชงและไม่เคยแก้ปีชงนั้นมีการเปิดรับสื่อ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมในการแก้ปีชงที่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ 0.001 สำหรับผู้ที่เคยแก้ปีชงนั้นมีการเปิดรับสื่อและความถี่เกี่ยวกับการแก้ปีชงประเภทสื่อมวลชนในระดับต่ำ ประเภทสื่อรูปแบบใหม่อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และประเภทสื่อบุคคลในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อเรื่องปีชงอยู่ในระดับเชื่อมั่นปานกลาง ทั้งนี้ผู้ที่เคยแก้ปีชงนั้นมีพฤติกรรมในการแก้ปีชงในระดับปานกลาง ซึ่งจะมีค่าใช้จ่ายในการแก้ปีชงอยู่ที่ 101 – 500 บาท สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่เคยแก้ปีชงนั้นมีการเปิดรับสื่อและความถี่เกี่ยวกับการแก้ปีชงประเภทสื่อมวลชนในระดับต่ำ ประเภทสื่อรูปแบบใหม่ในระดับต่ำ และประเภทสื่อบุคคลในระดับต่ำ โดยทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อเรื่องปีชงอยู่ในระดับไม่เชื่อมั่น ทั้งนี้ผู้ที่ไม่เคยแก้ปีชงนั้นมีพฤติกรรมในการไปแก้ปีชง (ที่คาดว่าจะทำเมื่อไปแก้ปีชง) ในระดับต่ำ ซึ่งจะมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่คิดจะใช้เมื่อไปแก้ปีชงอยู่ที่ต่ำกว่า 100 บาท

ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับบุตรและภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุไทย, เศรษฐการ หงษ์ศิริ

การศึกษาในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับบุตรและภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต รวมไปถึงปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย โดยใช้ข้อมูลชั้นทุติยภูมิจากการสำรวจผู้สูงอายุภายใต้โครงการการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางประชากรและความอยู่ดีมีสุขในบริบทสังคมสูงวัย พ.ศ. 2559 ซึ่งจัดทำโดยวิทยาลัยประชากรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และได้กำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุ (60 ปีขึ้นไป) ที่มีบุตรมีชีวิตอย่างน้อย 1 คน จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 4,812 คน สำหรับการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยทวินามลบที่มีผลกระทบจากศูนย์ ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่า มีผู้สูงอายุราวร้อยละ 59.93 ที่รายงานว่าตนมีปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตอย่างน้อย 1 อาการ ในช่วง 1 เดือนที่ผ่านมา ผู้สูงอายุในกลุ่มนี้มีอาการโดยเฉลี่ยประมาณ 2.04 อาการ ในส่วนของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับบุตร พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่ราวร้อยละ 88.32 มีความสัมพันธ์กับบุตรอยู่ในระดับดี โดยผู้สูงอายุร้อยละ 47.90 มีบุตรที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันดีมาก และร้อยละ 2.58 เท่านั้นที่มีบุตรที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันไม่ดีเลย จากการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับบุตรและภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุเพศชายที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับบุตรในระดับดี และมีบุตรอย่างน้อย 1 คนที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันในระดับดีมาก มีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต ในทุกแบบจำลอง ในขณะที่ ผู้สูงอายุเพศหญิงที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับบุตรในระดับดี มีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต เฉพาะในแบบจำลองที่ 1 เท่านั้น เมื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต ภายหลังเพิ่มการควบคุมอิทธิพลของปัจจัยอื่น ๆ พบว่า ปัจจัยด้านสุขภาพ ได้แก่ การประเมินสุขภาพตนเอง และความสามารถในการทำกิจวัตรประจำวันขั้นพื้นฐานและขั้นสูง และปัจจัยการเกื้อหนุนระหว่างรุ่น ได้แก่ รูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย การให้เงินแก่บุตร เป็นปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับบุตรและภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า ปัจจัยด้านประชากรและสังคม ได้แก่ อายุ สถานภาพสมรส การศึกษา เขตที่อยู่อาศัย ภูมิภาค ปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ ระดับรายได้ ความเพียงพอของรายได้ และปัจจัยด้านการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมทางสังคม ได้แก่ การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางศาสนา เป็นปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อภาวะปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิต อย่างไรก็ดี ความสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าวมีความแตกต่างไปตามเพศของผู้สูงอายุด้วย

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) รายงานสถานการณ์ของการรายงานภาวะมีบุตรยาก และ 2) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการรายงานภาวะมีบุตรยาก ด้วยปัจจัยทางประชากร ปัจจัยอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ปัจจัยสุขภาพ และปัจจัยของคู่สมรส ของสตรีวัยเจริญพันธุ์ที่มีสถานภาพกำลังสมรสแต่ยังไม่เคยมีบุตรในประเทศไทย การศึกษาครั้งนี้ใช้ข้อมูลการสำรวจระดับประเทศซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณจากการสำรวจของโครงการการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางประชากรและความอยู่ดีมีสุขในบริบทสังคมสูงวัย ของวิทยาลัยประชากรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งดำเนินการจัดเก็บข้อมูลในเดือนมิถุนายนถึงกันยายม พ.ศ.2559 มีกลุ่มประชากรตัวอย่างเป็นสตรีวัยเจริญพันธุ์ที่มีอายุระหว่าง 15 ถึง 49 ปี โดยการศึกษาครั้งนี้คัดเลือกเฉพาะสตรีที่มีอายุระหว่าง 25 ถึง 49 ปี มีสถานภาพกำลังสมรสแต่ยังไม่เคยมีบุตร และมีข้อมูลสำหรับการวิเคราะห์ที่สมบูรณ์ทั้งหมด 548 ราย การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลในการศึกษานี้ใช้การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยโลจิสติกทวิภาค (Binary Logistic Regression Analysis) โดยมีตัวแปรตามเป็นการรายงานภาวะมีบุตรยากของสตรี กำหนดให้ 0 แสดงถึงสตรีที่ไม่มีการรายงานภาวะมีบุตรยาก (กลุ่มอ้างอิง) 1 แสดงถึง สตรีที่รายงานภาวะมีบุตรยาก ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สตรีมากกว่าครึ่ง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 51.5 รายงานภาวะมีบุตรยาก ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีอายุระหว่าง 35 ถึง 39 ปี โดยร้อยละ 61 ของสตรีกลุ่มนี้รายงานว่าตนเองมีบุตรยาก ทั้งนี้เมื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรอิสระกับการรายงานภาวะมีบุตรยากพบว่า ปัจจัยทางประชากร ได้แก่ อายุของสตรี จำนวนบุตรที่ปรารถนา ปัจจัยอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ ได้แก่ การใช้การคุมกำเนิด การแท้ง ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ได้แก่ ระดับการศึกษาสตรี เขตที่อยู่อาศัย มีความสัมพันธ์กับการรายงายภาวะมีบุตรยากของสตรี
