The basic purpose of this study is to compare and evaluate the social cataloguing sites via content analysis from various parameters and also through SEO analyzer. The nine social cataloguing sites have been considered for this webometric analysis. Collected data were analyzed according to forty criteria under nine main aspects. Finally it was found that LibraryThing, Goodreads, aNobii etc. are good example of social cataloguing sites.

This paper aims to analyze and show the research trends on published research on information technology applications for library information services from 2011 until 2020. The papers are collected from SCOPUS and Web of Science databases. The study reveals 310 papers from various journals, and the total number of citations is 896 from 10 years. The data from 310 papers reveal that the most productive journal with the highest number of publications is “Library Hi Tech Journal”. The primary objective of this study is to identify the global research output on Taliban during the period of 25 years spanning from 1996-2020. Specific objectives are to analyze the distribution of literature, publication trends, authorship patterns, institutional productivity, collaboration networks, and prolific funding agencies. The data was harvested from the Web of Science Core Collection. A total of 614 records were retrieved on Taliban having 4416 total citations. The study explores the impact of the teaching of IL skills on the academic performance of undergraduate students of the SPH of the UHAS. The study uses primary data collected from 54 students with the help of a questionnaire and analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21. The main objective of this bibliometric study is to examine the publications globally from the Journal of Information Science in the specific period of forty two years (1979-2020). It provides insights into research-based activities. The data was extracted from the Science Citation Index database, Web of Science. This analysis provides information about the document types, yearly published documents within 42 years, top productive authors, top productive institutions and countries, frequently used keywords, and greatly cited articles.
