The rationale of this report was to evaluate the current use of electronic resources among users of medical college libraries in Multan division. Moreover, mean variation about medical e-resources in respect of awareness, satisfaction, utilization and barriers with respondents’ gender trait were also explored. Abstract

Purpose: Low understanding and comprehension of copyright compliance have been established in the body of literature. However, there is no study to indicate the understanding of Nigerian scholars on copyright compliance in self-archiving. This study explored copyright compliance of scholarly authors in self-archiving using the perspectives of Nigerian librarians.

Design/methodology/approach: The study adopts a qualitative approach, using the semi-structured interviews to collect data from a total of twenty-one (21) participants. The interview sessions were carried out using the Zoom application, and the interview transcript was analysed using thematic analysis.

This study examined Wikipedia edit-a-thon programme in a University Library in Nigeria. It adopted the descriptive design. Unstructured questionnaire and interview were used for data collection. The study examined the relationship that exists between academic resilience and information literacy self-efficacy among final year pre-service school librarians in a selected University in Nigeria. This study adopted the correlational survey research design. Through multistage sampling technique, 60 final year students of Library and Information science were selected. The questionnaire was used as the core research instrument.140 copies of the questionnaire were circulated to the students; the return rate was 80%. This study assessed awareness of farmers on agricultural information services in Mara region in Tanzania. Quantitative approach was adopted and data collection used single structured questionnaire. Awareness scales measured three factors; awareness knowledge; agricultural information needs and lastly use of ICTs in accessing agricultural information services. The results indicated that majority (93.2%; 280) of respondents had little knowledge of awareness, (91.3%; 272) of the response, needed improved seed varieties and the average, (60%; 180) of respondents have low use of ICT in accessing agricultural information services. A survey was conducted to investigate the viewpoint of IMAP students on effectiveness of electronic learning resources and conventional textbook materials in promoting learning. The population of the study was 750 registered users of IMAP library in 2021 from which a sample of 450 representing 60 percent of the total population was randomly selected. The sample was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table of sample size determination. The setting for the study was face to face.
