Narrative: The deminer [Name excised] was carrying out one man one lane manual demining drills in accordance with [Demining group] Sri Lanka manual demining SOPs for 100% excavation. He was using the axe hammer tool to excavate the face of his lane down to a depth of 15cm, when the detonation occurred. The mine detonated on the left hand side of his lane as he was using the axe hammer.

My talk today is specifically related to merging government publications department with reference services at San Jose State. Two compelling factors caused the merger. The first was a report from the university administration for all units, including academic ones, to streamline their operations. The second was the announced merger of the university library with the public library of San Jose. My talk will focus on the joining of the two libraries and give the background that led up to this merger, and then talk about what has happened to government publications. The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). As of Fall 2019 The Anchor has moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

The purpose of the Nebraska worker compensation program is to provide no-fault compensation to employees injured on the job. Traditionally farm and ranch workers have been exempted from Nebraska worker compensation statutes, despite the fact that agriculture is one of Nebraska’s most dangerous industries. For many years the Supreme Court has interpreted the farm and ranch worker exemption narrowly in order to provide worker compensation protection to as many injured agricultural workers as possible. This attitude was reflected in a 2002 opinion (Larsen v D B Feedyards, 264 Neb 483) in which the Nebraska Supreme Court ruled that a cattle …
