การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาภาคตัดขวาง ซึ่งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเสียงจากการจราจร กับการตอบสนองของประชาชนในชุมชน เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการกำหนดมาตรฐานเสียงรบกวนที่เกิดจากการจราจรในย่านพานิชยกรรมและที่อยู่อาศัยหนาแน่นมากในเขตเทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่ การเก็บข้อมูลใช้เครื่องตรวจวัดเลียง (Sound level meter) ยี่ห้อ NA-27 type 1 วัดระดับเสียงเฉลี่ย 15ชั่วโมง (Leq15 hr) และ ระดับเสียง percentile ที่ 10 (L10) รวม 6 จุด โดยแต่ละจุดจะวัดทั้งวันธรรมดาและวันหยุดราชการ ในช่วงระยะเวลา 07.00-22.00 น. และขณะวัดเสียงในชุมชนจะสัมภาษณ์ประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่รอบพื้นที่ศึกษาจำนวน 246 คนเกี่ยวกับลักษณะประชากรบ้านพักอาศัยความไวต่อเสียง โรคประจำตัวและโรคทางหูผดกระทบและความรำคาญจากเสียง และสุขภาพจิต ผลการศึกษาพบ ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรำคาญกับระดับเสียงเฉลี่ย 15 ชั่วโมง เป็นแบบแปรผันตรงด้วย ค่าสัมประสิทธิสหสัมพันธ์0.8292 และจากการวิเคราะห์ด้วยสถิติพหุคูณพบปัจจัยเพิ่มความรำคาญได้แก่ การประกอบอาชีพลูกจ้างหรือนักเรียนนักศึกษา แหล่งเสียงภายนอกบ้าน ความคิดเห็นว่าเสียงเป็นมลภาวะระดับมากและมากที่สุด เสียงจราจรที่รบกวนการทำงานและการนอนหลับ ส่วนปัจจัยลดความรำคาญได้แก่ ลักษณะที่พักอาศัยแบบตึกแถว แต่ปัจจัยอื่นๆไม่มีผล เมื่อนำค่าความน่าจะเป็นที่ได้จากสมการปรุงปรับเพื่อลดอิทธิพลตัวแปรกวนต่างๆมาพล็อตกับระดับความรำคาญ โดยใช้แบบจำลองถดถอยเชิงเส้นอย่างง่ายพบว่า ระดับเสียงที่ทำให้คนร้อยละ 20 เกิดความรู้สึกรำคาญมีค่า 68.2 เดซิเบล

วิธีการสมมติเหตุการณ์ให้ประเมินมูลค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มนาบีง ละหาน จ.ชัยภูมิโดยการใช้คำถามแบบ Dichotomous choice ว่า "ท่านและครัวเรือนเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเงินเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมง (ปลาและสัตว์น้ำ)ในบึงละหานหรือไม่" สอบถามครัวเรือนตัวอย่างจำนวน 300 ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 20 หมู่บ้าน ใน 4 ตำบล คือ ต.หนองบัวบาน ต.ละหาน ต.บ้านกอก และ ต.หนองบัวใหญ่ ในรัศมี 3 กิโลเมตรจาก บึงละหานโดยใช้ระดับราคาเริ่มแรกที่ถามแตกต่างกันเท่ากับ 50 100 300 และ 500 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ร้อยละ 38.3 ของครัวเรือนตัวอย่างเป็นครัวเรือนอาชีพประมง ซึ่งมีรายได้ครัวเรือนมากกว่า ร้อยละ 50 มาจากการจับปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึงละหาน ค่าเฉลี่ยและค่ามัธยฐานของจำนวนเงินที่ครัวเรือนเต็มใจจะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหานเท่ากับ 417.16 และ 259.04 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี ตามลำดับ คิดเป็นมูลค่ารวมทั้งหมด 1,683,240.60 บาท/ปี ที่ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 4,035 ครัวเรือน เต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการ อนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหาน เทียบกับมูลค่าผลประโยชน์ที่ได้รับจากการจับปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึง ละหานเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 20,349.2 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี หรือคิดเป็นมูลค่าผลประโยชน์ทั้งหมดที่ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 4,035 ครัวเรือน ได้รับเท่ากับ 82,109,022 บาท/ปี ปัจจัยหลักซึ่งมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ที่กำหนดขนาดของมูลค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหาน คือ ที่ตั้งของครัวเรือน ความสำคัญของทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานต่อครัวเรือน และแหล่งข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการอนุรักษ์ปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึงละหาน ผลการวิจัยสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อการวาง แผนการจัดการทรัพยากรประมงและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอื่นๆในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหานเช่นการจัดเก็บค่าอาญาบัตรการทำประมงหรือภาษีท้องถิ่นจากการทำการประมงในบึงละหาน และการจัดสรรงบประมาณเพื่อการอนุรักษ์และจัดการ ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด นอกจากนี้มูลค่าซึ่งครัวเรือนอาชีพประมงระบุว่ามีความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานยังสะท้อนถึงความตระหนักและความต้องการของครัวเรือนที่จะอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงได้อีกนัยหนึ่ง

การพัฒนาคิวซาร์โมเดลอย่างง่ายเพื่อทำนายการดูดซับสารโพลีไซคลิกอะโรมาติกไฮโดรคาร์บอนของดิน, เบญจลักษณ์ กาญจนเศรษฐ, เรณู ใจหลัก

ศึกษาดินที่มีปริมาณสารอินทรีย์คาร์บอน 4 ระดับเพื่อหาสัมประสิทธ์การดูดซับสารโพลีไซคลิกอะโรมาติกไฮโดรคาร์บอน (พีเอเอช) 9 ชนิดที่มีค่า log Kow ในช่วง 3.4-6.5 และที่ความเข้มข้น 4 ระดับ หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่า log Koc กับค่า log Kow น้ำหนักโมเลกุล การละลายน้ำ ความดันไอ และค่าคงที่ของเฮนรีลอว์ และตรวจสอบการทำนายของแบบจำลอง ผลการศึกษาพบว่าค่า log Koc มีค่าใกล้เคียงกับค่า log Koc จากงานวิจัยอื่น และ มีค่าสูงขึ้นตามนำหนักโมเลกุลและค่า log Kow ที่มากขึ้น ค่า log Koc ที่แตกต่างกับงานวิจัยอื่น คาดว่ามาจากความแตกต่างของเงื่อนไขในการทดลอง อุณหภูมิทดลอง ขนาดอนุภาคดิน สารอินทรีย์แขวนลอย การย่อยสลายทางชีวภาพ และการย่อยสลายโดยแสง เป็นต้น ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่า log Koc กับ log Kow น้ำหนักโมเลกุล และค่าคงที่ของเฮนรีลอว์อยู่ในระดับดีมาก แสดงว่าคุณสมบัติของสารเหล่านี้สามารถใช้เป็นดัชนีชี้วัดได้ดี จากการทดสอบแบบจำลองโดยใช้สาร PAH อื่น ซึ่งมีค่า log Kow อยู่ในช่วง 3.4-6.5พบว่าค่า log Koc ที่คำนวณได้จากแบบจำลองความสัมพันธ์กับ log Kow ใกล้เคียง กับงานวิจัยอื่น เช่นเดียวกับสาร PCDD และ PCB พบว่า ค่า log Koc ที่ได้จากแบบจำลองความสัมพันธ์กับ log Kow ให้ค่าที่ดีเมื่อเทียบกับงานวิจัยอื่น แต่ไม่ดีนักเมื่อเทียบกับแบบจำลองอื่น แบบจำลองนี้จึงมีข้อจำกัดทั้งนี้อาจมาจาก ค่าการละลายในน้ำ/สารละลายและค่าความคันไอของสารมีหลายค่า

การมีสารคีเลตในน้ำเสียทำให้การกำจัดโลหะด้วยวิธีการตกตะกอนมีประสิทธิภาพลดลง เนื่องจากการเกิดสารประกอบเชิงซ้อนของโลหะกับสารคีเลต ซึ่งทำให้คุณสมบัติในการตกผลึกและการละลายน้ำของโลหะเปลี่ยนไปการวิจัยนี้ได้ท้าการศึกษาผลของสารคีเลตต่อการดูดซับตะกั่วจากสารละลายด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายโดยการ ทดลองแบบแบตซ์และคอลัมน์ ผลการทดลองในแบตซ์พบว่า ความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายสูงขึ้นเมื่อพีเอชสูงขึ้นในช่วงพีเอชที่ทำการศึกษา และการเพิ่มความเข้มข้นของสารละลายตะกั่วทำให้ปริมาณตะกั่วที่ถูกดูดซับต่อปริมาณไคโตแซนเพิ่มขึ้นตามไปด้วย สำหรับผลการศึกษาผลของสารคีเลต พบว่าความ สามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายที่พีเอชสูงลดลงในขณะที่ความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่ว ที่พีเอชต่ำเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อเดิมอีดีทีเอหรือเอ็นทีเอลงไปในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ ส่วนการเดิมกรดทาทาริกลงไปน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ไม่มีผลต่อความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วโดยไคโตแซนการทดลองแบบคอลัมน์พบว่าสามารถบำบัดน้ำเสียให้มีความ เข้มข้นต่ำกว่ามาตรฐานน้ำทิ้งได้ภายในปริมาตร 88.89 ปริมาตรเบด โดยมีประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัด 91.40%

เตรียมแผ่นใยไม้อัดโดยนำเส้นใยชานอ้อยมาผสมกับโฟมกันกระแทกที่ทำจากพอลิสไตรีน นำโฟมมาตัดย่อยให้มีขนาด 2-4 มิลลิเมตร และ 4-6.48 มิลลิเมตร ใช้ยูเรียฟอร์มาลดีไฮด์ พอลิไวนิลอะซิเทต และกาวเดกซ์ตรินเป็นสารยึดติด อัตราส่วนผสมของโฟม:เส้นใยชานอ้อย:สารยึดติด 8:30:40 โดยน้ำหนัก พบว่ายูเรีย-ฟอร์มาลดีไฮด์และพอลิไวนิลอะซิเทตเป็นสารยึดติดที่ให้ความแข็งแรงต่อแผ่นใยไม้อัดดีกว่ากาวเดกซ์ตริน และพอลิสไตรีนโฟมขนาด 4-6.48 มิลลิเมตร มีผลทำให้สมบัติการดูดซับเลียงดีกว่าฝ้าเสริมเส้นใยแก้ว เมื่อเปรียบเทียบสมบัติเชิงกลของแผ่นใยไม้อัดที่เตรียมได้กับฝ้าเสริมเส้นใยแก้วพบว่าสมบัติเชิงกลด้อยกว่า สำหรับสารยึดติดทั้ง 3 ชนิด พบว่า ยูเรีย-ฟอร์มาลดีไฮด์เป็นสารยึดติดที่ให้สมบัติเชิงกลและสมบัติการดูดซับเสียงดีที่สุด

การศึกษาผลของสารเคมีที่ใช้ในการกระตุ้นเพื่อเตรียมถ่านกัมมันต์จากขี้เลื่อยในครั้งนี้ สารเคมีที่ใช้คือ NaCI และ ZnCI2 โดยทำการทดลองเปลี่ยนแปลงอัตราส่วนโดยน้ำหนักของขี้เลื่อยต่อสารเคมี และอุณหภูมิที่ใช้เผากระตุ้นจากนั้น ศึกษาคุณสมปติของถ่านกัมมันต์ที่เตรียมได้ทั้งสองชนิด แล้วคัดเลือกถ่านกัมมันต์ตัวที่มีความเหมาะสมที่สุดของแต่ละชนิดนำไปทดสอบประสิทธิภาพการกำจัดตะกั่วในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ผลการทดลองพบว่าการเตรียมถ่านกัมมันต์สภาวะที่เหมาะ สมโดยใช้ NaCI เป็นตัวกระตุ้น คือใช้น้ำหนักของขี้เลื่อยต่อ NaCI = 1:1 และเผากระตุ้นที่ 800 °C เป็นเวลา 1 ชั่วโมง ส่วนการกระตุ้นด้วย ZnCI2 ใช้น้ำหนักของขี้เลื่อยต่อ ZnCI2 = 1 : 1 และเผากระตุ้นที่ 700 °C เป็นเวลา 1 ชั่วโมง เช่นกัน จากนั้นทำการล้างสารเคมีออกด้วยน้ำร้อนและกรดเจือจาง ถ่านกัมมันต์ที่ได้มีค่าไอโอดีนนัมเบอร์เท่ากับ 519.4 และ 1,021.3 mg/g ตามลำดับ มีค่าพื้นที่ผิวเท่ากับ 593.79 และ 1,572.51 m2/g ตามลำดับ ถ่านกัมมันต์ที่กระตุ้นด้วย NaCI มีความสามารถในการกำจัดตะกั่ว (ความเข้มข้น 10 mg/L) ที่ pH 8 เท่ากับ 9.96 mg/g ของถ่านกัมมันต์ และถ่านกัมมันต์ที่กระตุ้นด้วย ZnCI2 มีความสามารถในการกำจัดตะกั่ว (ความเข้มข้น 10 mg/L) ที่ pH 7 เท่ากับ 99.7 mg/g ของถ่านกัมมันต์ การทดลองประสิทธิภาพการกำจัดตะกั่วในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ด้วยถังดูดติดผิวแบบแท่งที่ระดับความลึกของถ่านกัมมันต์ 30, 60, 90 และ 120 cm พบว่าที่จุด Breakthrough สามารถกำจัดตะกั่วในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ความเข้มข้น 10 mg/L ได้เท่ากับ 1.21, 14.17, 186.04 และ 209.17 …

ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของสมุนไพร บริเวณริมแม่น้ำเหือง อำเภอนาแห้ว จังหวัดเลย ที่มีผลต่อการยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อก่อโรคในระบบทางเดินอาหาร, วีรวัฒน์ กนกนุเคราะห์

การสำรวจสภาพพื้นที่ป่าบริเวณริมฝังแม่น้ำเหือง อำเภอนาแห้ว จังหวัดเลย ซึ่งเป็นเขตรอยต่อระหว่างประเทศไทยและลาว ในพื้นที่ครอบคลุมประมาณ 24 ตารางกิโลเมตร ที่ระดับความสูงตั้งแต่ 400-1,200 เมตร พบว่าสภาพป่าส่วนใหญ่มีลักษณะเป็นป่าดิบชื้น ป่าดิบเขา และป่าเต็งรัง จากการรวบรวมตัวอย่างพรรณไม้ประมาณ 300 ตัวอย่าง พบว่ามีลักษณะเป็นพืชสมุนไพร 70 ชนิด แต่มีเพียง 15 ชนิด ที่คาดว่าน่าจะมีผลต่อการยับยังการเจริญของเชื้อก่อโรคในระบบทางเดินอาหาร เมื่อทำการสกัดแห้งสมุนไพรทั้ง 15 ชนิด และนำสารสกัดที่ได้มาทดสอบฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อแบคทีเรีย 4 ชนิด ที่ก่อให้เกิดโรคระบบทางเดินอาหารคือ Escherichia coli Shigella dysenteriae Salmonella typhosa และ Vibrio cholerae ด้วยวิธีการ disc diffusion บนอาหารเลี้ยงเชื้อ พบว่าสารสกัดจากเปลือกผลของมังคุด ด้วยน้ำกลั่นสามารถยับยั้งการเจริญของเชื้อ E. coli ได้ สารสกัดจากใบโกฏจุฬาลำพาด้วยไดเอธิล อีเธอร์สามารถยับยังการเจริญของเชื้อ ร. dysenteriae ได้ ขณะทีเชื้อ S. typhosa ถูกยับยั้งการเจริญด้วยสารสกัดจากเปลือกผลสมอพิเภก, กลีบดอกคูน หรือใบเปล้าน้อยที่ใช้ไอโซโพรพานอล 80% เป็นตัวทำละลาย แต่ไม่พบว่ามีสารสกัดจากสมุนไพรชนิดใดสามารถออกฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการเจริญของเชอ V. cholerae ได้

Does the partisan composition of three-judge panels affect how earlier opinions are treated and thus how the law develops? Using a novel data set of Shepard’s treatments for all cases decided in the U.S. courts of appeals from 1974 to 2017, we investigate three different versions of this question. First, are panels composed of three Democratic (Republican) appointees more likely to follow opinions decided by panels of three Democratic (Republican) appointees than are panels composed of three Republican (Democratic) appointees? Mathematical models of learning and retention have long been developed in psychology for both basic and applied research. For basic research, models of learning and retention attempt to explain how individuals acquire and retain information over time. While for applied research, models of learning and retention are used to inform education and training decisions. Although most clinical psychology doctoral trainees encounter at least one suicidal client over the course of their training (Dexter-Mazza & Freeman, 2003), there is notable variability in the degree of formal suicide risk assessment and intervention training offered across clinical psychology doctoral programs (Monahan & Karver, 2021). Most suicide-related training involves passive (e.g., lectures) rather than active (e.g., role-plays, experiential exercises) training techniques, despite evidence for the effectiveness of the latter in improving clinicians’ skills (Gryglewicz et al., 2020). This study explored the mathematics efficacy beliefs of 270 South Asian (Indo American) immigrant and Anglo American nonimmigrant 7th grade students. Self-efficacy beliefs strongly predicted mathematics performance for both cultural groups, but there were differences between the 2 groups in the sources of self-efficacy, the predictiveness of the secondary motivation variables. It is argued that the Indo American students are more vertical or hierarchical than the Anglo-American students and that comparison with others strongly influences their motivation beliefs and the formation of their efficacy beliefs. Self-efficacy in some cultures may be more other-oriented than is typically seen in Western cultures. …

The purpose of the present study was to examine the direct and indirect effects of Problematic Instagram use (PIU) on different psychopathological outcomes including loneliness, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. Additionally, moderating role of gender on the relationships among variables was investigated. A total of 191 adolescents (Mage= 21.45 years, SD=2.07; range=18 to 24 years) were recruited for the study to complete a questionnaire that included the relevant assessment tools for the variables. Mediation and moderation analyses showed that among male adolescents, PIU was directly associated with loneliness, depression, general anxiety, and social anxiety. As Instagram’s popularity has grown in recent years, so too has public and research interest grown in understanding the effects of Instagram use on young women. The present study joins a growing number of daily diary studies that explored momentary changes in negative affect, self-esteem, distress, vulnerable narcissism, and grandiose narcissism in response to browsing Instagram and exposure to distressing images. The role of narcissistic personality traits on such relationships was of particular interest. This micro-longitudinal study examined the psychological mechanisms involved in the momentary unfolding of suicidal ideation (SI) subsequent to conflicts with a romantic partner (PRC), with a specific aim to examine the mediating and moderating roles of state anger (SA), rejection expectancy (RE), lack of emotional awareness (LEA), and perceived social support from friends (PSS). Considering the widespread prevalence of racist content and opinions on social media, there is a pressing need to understand how users react to such content in ways that might lead them to be drawn into echo chambers of racism, hate speech, and potentially even violence. We conducted an online study to investigate how two individual differences—political orientation and motivation to control prejudice (MCP)—may predispose people to accept anti-Black racism expressed in social media messages.
