Private digital currency is no longer limited to shadow banking issues but has also entered shadow central banking, putting Bank Indonesia to adopt the CBDC. This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic, accessibility, and demographic aspects on CBDC implementation, as well as the impact of publicity on changes in the behavior of economic actors in using CBDC in Indonesia. The results of the study show that GRDP, gini ratio, ICT, and bank accounts have an effect on CBDC. Women's Perspectives On Public Transportation In Jakarta, Indonesia – Reliability And Service Quality Insights, Yong Adilah Shamsul Harumain, Lita Sari Barus, Nurfatin Fauzi
Journal of Strategic and Global Studies
The provision of public transport is of utmost importance in effectively addressing the needs of women residing in developing nations. Nevertheless, it has been noted that the issue of gender-sensitive public transport lacks substantial consideration in the majority of developing nations worldwide. Universal designs are recognised internationally for their rational and economically efficient characteristics, as they accommodate the needs and preferences of not only women but also other individuals who require or desire access to public transportation. Within the realm of public transport, a controversial topic has emerged regarding the introduction of specialised or unique services. The present debate has …

Prevention and treatment of diabetes will have a positive influence on tuberculosis (TB) since people may get TB because they have diabetes mellitus (DM). Recording and reporting through the TB Information System are not run optimally because of many factors. The information system must be strengthened to be used by private health facilities. This study used secondary data from the 2013 and 2018 Indonesian Basic Health Research (IBHR). The data was analyzed univariately and analyzed further using Orange Data Mining Tools to test the screening tool model used to predict TB in diabetic individuals. The total sample in this study …

Primary health care (PHC) has one of the largest funding sources, capitation, which BPJS Healthcare Security transfers monthly. Capitation fund receipts were frequently insufficient due to failure to meet performance-based capitation/Kapitasi Berbasis Kinerja (KBK) targets, including for PHC in Malang City, Indonesia. This study aimed to examine the management and utilization of capitation funds through a KBK mechanism. This descriptive study used a qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. This study was conducted from July to August 2023 and purposely selected nine informants from BPJS Healthcare Security, the local health office, and PHC. Indonesia has an economic transformation. However, it tends to experience deindustrialization and development inclusivity challenges. This research examines the influence of industrialization and inclusivity to improve welfare in the short and long term. The analytical method is Autoregressive Distributed Lag, using province-level panel data from 2012–2021. Based on results, industrialization has not significantly affected welfare improvement in the short term. Inclusivity has no significant impact in the short term, but it has a negative direction. However, in the long term, industrialization and inclusivity positively and significantly increase welfare. This confirms that industrialization and inclusivity require time to create welfare.

Indonesia has initiated trade liberalization to boost the coffee export performance in the international market through trade agreements (FTA). However, Indonesian coffee export performance tends to decline. This study aims to analyze the effect of Indonesia’s FTA with its trading partners and other determinants of Indonesian coffee exports. This research employs a modified export approach gravity model with PPML estimation. The result shows that the FTA implementation generally can promote Indonesian coffee export, implying the export creation effect. Therefore, inward and outward-looking strategies are necessary to further boost the export creation effect on Indonesian coffee.

Global warming causes extreme weather and seawater levels to rise. Long-term climate change prediction has been done in various fields, including disaster management. It forced people to adapt to the consequences of climate change in coastal areas. Mitigation and adaptation are complementing each other in addressing climate change risks. Climate change mitigation supports essential aspects of sustainable development, specifically related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals on climate action (SDG13) and disaster risk reduction (SDG11). Making the community sustainable in a disaster is one of the ways to do this. Community sustainable development can be used to mitigate and adapt …

Earth is on the verge of rising temperatures above 1.5˚ Celsius. Passing the limit of 1.5˚ Celsius is a significant risk in living on earth as it will increase the risks of natural disasters such as drought, flood, and storm. With forests capable of absorbing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the need for forest conservation areas is increasing to keep the earth's temperature below 1.5˚ Celsius. The increase in demand is facing hurdles from its financial sustainability, as well as the stakeholder's paradigm, which is still seen as a forest from a direct economic perspective. Market-based initiatives (MBI) are a concept …
