In Thailand, the market value of premium pet food has been significantly increasing overtime. Simultaneously, consumers also increasingly demand healthy food to satisfy healthy lifestyle which is trendy nowadays. This phenomenon seems to grow with the same direction so the purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of health-consciousness lifestyle on the food choice for pets by using the logistic regression. Increasing income inequality has negative effects on human well-being and the nation's economic development. Understanding how income inequality is affected by various economic factors is the first step toward alleviating it. Previously, inflation, economic and technology development, and the openness to globalization have been suggested to affect income inequality in various developed nations. In this work, we are interested in developing countries in south-east asia. In Thailand, we found that the inflation rate had a positive impact on income inequality in recent years (2000-2020), yet had the opposite impact in earlier years (1980-1999). This paper utilizes three marketing tools in order to identify the marketing strategy of the Phuket Sandbox scheme. It aims to discover the target group of consumers, strengths and weaknesses of the scheme, and the type of tourism products that the Phuket Sandbox has to offer to tourists. The main findings are that the destination is strong in its medical and cultural tourism products but may suffer from crime events and degradation of tourism resources. The study of impact of COVID-19 outbreak on export values of industrial product from Thailand to China focused on illustrating how large the effect is and investigating the influencing factors. The monthly data during 2017 to 2021 were used in the multiple regression model to analyze factors affecting Thailand export values to China especially industrial product. This study also indicated the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on other main exported products. Using data from Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) 2018 which contain comprehensive information of the highly educated in mainland China, this paper estimates which of the two variables, type of tertiary education and major fields, is of greater importance to private earnings. With adoption of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Shapley Variance Decomposition based on R-squared, empirical results reveal considerable heterogeneity in returns to educational type (vocational college and academic university) and to major area. This empirical research examines the relationship between exchange rate, exchange rate volatility, and also investigates the stock market return factors on the foreign direct investment flows in Thailand. This research uses the quarterly data from 1Q2005 to 4Q2020 period. It finds that there is the evidence of significantly positive relationship of exchange rate on foreign direct investment while exchange rate volatility has the significantly negative relationship on foreign direct investment. This paper illustrates the determinants of airlines’ decision to join global alliances. The author adopted various models and compared a variety of literature reviews to find out supporting ideas of the advantages of forming cooperative alliances. The result shows that airlines with several passengers’ volumes and full-service airlines lead to the participation between airlines with five beneficial emphases – reduction of utility cost, driving growth opportunities through globalization, strengthening market position, improvement of service quality, and enhancing passengers’ loyalty. This paper determines whether there is a relationship between the growth rate in Thailand and outward foreign direct investment from ASEAN and Europe. The variables that have been adopted are outward foreign investment in ASEAN, outward foreign investment in Europe, foreign direct investment, and gross fixed capital formation, all of which have been measured using time series data from Quarter 1 in 2005 to Quarter 3 in 2021. The model runs through 3 macroeconomic indicators; namely, Public debt, Personal Income Tax, and Real Gross Domestic Product, which represent economic growth. All of them are examined by Vector Error Correction Model and Granger Causality approach. The evidence shows that public debt and income tax are related to Thailand’s growth in different directions; the former is favorable while the latter is negative at a 5% significance level. Despite rapid economic growth, Southeast Asia and Latin America continue to have significant income inequality. This study applies fixed-effects regression estimation with the dynamic panel model with lagged independent variables and the fixed-effects analysis with endogenous covariates to examine the impact of economic and demographic factors on income inequality in 6 Southeast Asian and 15 Latin American countries from 1994 to 2017. Empirical results indicate that emissions, trade openness, old-age dependency ratio, human capital, and female population reduce income inequality, whereas industrialization, unemployment, young-age dependency ratio, and urban population increase income inequality in Southeast Asian countries.
