That was obvious during and after the Egyptian revolution, which was led by young people. How Can Mongolia Avoid The Resource Curse?, Batbayar Baatarkhuu

The resource curse paradox, i.e., that resource rich countries tend to have weaker economies than no-resource countries, causes challenges for low and middle-income countries, including Mongolia (Moran, 2013). To avoid the resource curse, Mongolia should undertake three policy measures: diversifying its economy, establishing a sovereign wealth fund and imposing import restrictions.

Since independence, burning fossil fuels to fulfill the energy demand of Pakistan has led to the deterioration of the environment and an increase in air pollution in major cities such as Karachi and Lahore. Correspondingly, rapid inustrializaiton and econmic growth has resulted in a large difference between teh demand and supply of electricity in Pakistan due to rolling blackouts, which are common.
