Study On Combat Effectiveness Prediction Model Using Elman Feedback Network, Xiaoxi Li, Haoguang Chen, Daxi Li, Jiangping Chen

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: To deal with combat effectiveness prediction of the military system, a SVR-based crucial evaluation indexes mining method was carefully investigated. The key indexes in the effectiveness evaluation were found by comparing partial derivatives. The model of efficiency prediction based on Elman neural networks, which used effective optimized indexs and values as input and output, was exerted to combat effectiveness prediction of C4ISR. The results show that the method can reduce the complexity of prediction model, and avoid uncertain factors existing in system, which provide effective technical support for the combat effectiveness prediction scientifically.

Design Of Micro-Strip Antenna Based On Step-Like Electromagnetic Band-Gap Structure To Improve Bandwidth And Gain, Zhigang Xiao, Jiang Yao, Shaoquan Yin

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: Design of a micro-strip antenna based on electromagnetic band-gap structure can significantly improve the bandwidth and gain of the antenna. EBG structure is used to suppress the surface wave propagation and increase the radiation gain of the antenna. At the same time, the antenna substrate thickness increase is beneficial to expand the bandwidth of the antenna. According to the actual need, the EBG and the antenna can use diffident substrate. The method can replace the traditional choke ring antenna and significantly reduce the antenna size without sacrificing the performance of the antenna.

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: Traditional Procrustes normalization needs many iterations which will spend a lot of time. Here training samples alignment was set only after once translation, rotation and scaling operations by marking anchor point and using average body shape as the initialization rules model. Traditional ASM algorithm leads to a long computing time and is easily to make the feature points matching error for gray model’s similarity. It was improved by using every feature points as a center point, training gray model though its rounded rectangular gray distribution, and searching target points within its 24 neighborhood points. Experimental results show …

The gravitational-wave signal GW190521 is consistent with a binary black hole (BBH) merger source at redshift 0.8 with unusually high component masses, M ⊙ and M ⊙, compared to previously reported events, and shows mild evidence for spin-induced orbital precession. The primary falls in the mass gap predicted by (pulsational) pair-instability supernova theory, in the approximate range 65–120 M ⊙. The probability that at least one of the black holes in GW190521 is in that range is 99.0%. The final mass of the merger ( M ⊙) classifies it as an intermediate-mass black hole. Under the assumption of a quasi-circular …

This paper proposes an analysis method, using the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration satellite data, to trace variations in outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) for finding the precursors of earthquakes. The significance of these observations is investigated using data sets of recent M ≥6.0 earthquakes around the Taiwan area from 2009 to 2019. We suggest that the precursory signal could be an EIndex anomaly (EA) in the form of substantial thermal releases distributed near the epicenter. The consecutive appearances of OLR EAs are observed as precursors 2–15 days before significant earthquakes, and we refer to this as a pre-earthquake OLR …
