Thus, examining the nuances of Vietnam’s diaspora-homeland connections can contribute to broader knowledge about transnational relationships. As a globally recognized hotspot of biodiversity, the Ecuadorian Chocó Andino region is extremely important for research and conservation. However, little research has been done regarding the mutualistic networks that sustain this ecosystem. The analysis of plant-pollinator networks helps us understand how ecosystems respond to change and is vital to conserving ecological productivity across multiple spatial scales. This study establishes a baseline for pollinator network structure across a land use gradient near the western montane cloud forest in Ecuador. This paper will explore the factors that influence the spending habits of young Americans and how those patterns correlate to lifetime savings. Spring Block is the culminating experience for the Environmental Education and Eco-Social Justice emphasis, though students of all majors are encouraged to participate. Students are in a cohort throughout spring quarter, with preparation work during winter quarter, and they participate in a wide variety of environmental education activities. Our class was studying the use of emojis across different platforms and wanted to explore how stories using emojis could impact young readers. Here, we try to translate the story of Skyler into emoji, providing translations along the way. We replace words completely with emoji, represent phrases with a few emoji, and use additional emoji to make sense of the content, including punctuation. In this book, we explore the character of Skyler, who is a picky eater. But they learn to eat the nutritious food that is good for them. In the end, they even get a reward!

There is a well-documented history of US state institutions possessing Indigenous human remains and cultural artifacts without consent from descendant communities. Since the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act’s (NAGPRA) establishment in 1990, institutions have been required by law to repatriate these remains back to their rightful communities, but today there are still many cases of repatriation that remain uncompleted.

To evaluate NAGPRA’S effectiveness in New York State, I investigated repatriation efforts on 64 SUNY campuses. I examined campus involvement concerning NAGPRA by collecting data on NAGPRA Coordinators at SUNY campuses and collections held by their departments and museums …

In the Republic of Korea, liquidated damages play a crucial role in pre-estimating potential damages arising from contract breaches, offering numerous benefits such as reducing the creditor’s evidentiary burden and fostering contractual compliance. Librarians and faculty collaborated in teaching and a study to improve how future teachers found, judged and communicated about evidence-based teaching practices. Students wrote literature reviews about evidence-based practices, then translating information for parent audiences. Students demonstrated gains in information literacy and interactions between knowledge and demonstrated skills.

Food security in any given economy is vital for country’s growth and development. The main goal of this study is to determine food insecurity status among the aging population and its influential factors in Canada. Poverty, demographic trends, community and social support, and health status and costs were causes linked to food insecurity. The study used a qualitative research design , obtaining primary data from the participants.
